Florinda Dias, Senior Manager, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, EY
Florinda has over 14 years of experience in public accounting providing assurance services with focus on ASPE, IFRS and US GAAP; reviewing of internal controls over financial reporting, reviewing of COSO 2013 and drafting regulatory compliance model and framework including regulatory risk assessments. She has a solid understanding of audit and entity-wide controls (over fraud risk, significant risks and business processes). She also has broad, comprehensive experience providing assurance and advisory services to banks, asset management companies, pension funds, gaming industry and small to medium enterprises.
Florinda has led the assignment of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) for a major institution in Canada. She has extensive experience in IFRS, IAS, GAAP. She was involved in the pilot review and mapping of the updated COSO framework for major pension plans in Canada. She has performed diagnostic assessments between Canadian GAAP and IFRS including assessments of various accounting policy choices and drafting of skeleton financial statements templates for various Fund Groups.
Bhavna Duggal, Senior Manager, EY
Bhavna has over fourteen years of global experience in the Financial Services Industry, both within Public Accounting Firms (Deloitte and EY) and as a senior executive with some of the leading global Banks in the world (JP Morgan Chase and Morgan Stanley) across three continents in Europe, Asia and North America. She provides subject matter expertise in the adoption and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), complex technical accounting advisory, transaction advisory, internal controls and independent review assessments. Bhavna has led engagements specializing in finance transformation within the Finance function, focusing on Financial Reporting and Performance Improvement management disciplines.
Osbert Liu, Manager, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, EY
Osbert has over six years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, primarily serving traditional and alternative asset management clients in the areas of assurance and advisory. He has broad experience assisting organizations to understand and assess risks within their operations, assessing the design and operating effectiveness of Internal Control over Financial Reporting and providing remediation support. Osbert has managed and executed various types of engagements including Service Organization Controls Reporting, Agreed Upon Procedures and Audit engagements of several mid and large sized organizations reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. A Certified Public Accountant since 2013, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Saqib Jalil, Manager, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, EY
Saqib has more than 10 years of experience in professional service firms and industry.
Saqib has diverse experience in audit, IFRS and US GAAP based financial reporting for multi-currency groups, budgeting and forecasting and transaction services. Saqib is member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.
He performed as Lead Coordinator for annual audits and half-yearly reviews by auditors for an oil and gas company and led statutory audits for engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, steel, trading and non-profit entities. Saqib has advised companies on complex financial reporting issues, managed financial reporting of publicly listed companies and oil and gas ventures.
Carla Ironside, Manager, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, EY
Carla Ironside, CPA, CA, has over ten years of experience in auditing, accounting, and compliance in a variety of industries and for international as well as private companies. She provides accounting guidance to clients and staff advising on various accounting and financial reporting matters under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, and ongoing client assistance with large scale accounting implementation projects including revenue recognition and leases.
Carla is also invlolved in research of existing and emerging accounting standards (both IFRS and US GAAP) and preparation and presentation of related training materials. Her previous industry experience includes responsibility for the review of continuous disclosure documents to assess compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements. She has a Bachelor of Commerce; member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
